Business Development University Seminars

Business Development University programs, designed specifically for small businesses, are 2-hour courses offered every month through the Tri-City Regional Chamber. A wide variety of topics are covered, such as marketing, customer service, taxes, human resource topics, social media, and more.  Business Development University programs are taught by Regional Chamber members who have expertise in their particular field.

When it comes to running a successful business, expertly crafted graphic design is integral for company brand image, professionalism, communication and more! You can learn skills to reach your audience in a way that is functional, attractive and professional. Join us for a workshop dedicated to the five basic elements of graphic design to make your publications pop! Whether you are a small business owner or work in a marketing or communications role, this class will give you the skills to hit the ground running on your publications! 

In this session you will learn how to:

  • Use typography, imagery, white space and scale
  • Create a grid structure to tie all of the elements together
  • Develop a coordinated branded look using the rules you have defined
